Most fine jewelry is sold on a description someone else wrote. The stone is a set of letters on a tag and you are asked to take it on faith.
Ours is graded before it is listed, and if you want to see why a stone is called what it is called, come in and look at it under the loupe with me. That part is free and it takes ten minutes.

- How do I know the diamonds are real?
- Every stone is graded in house before the piece is listed, and you are welcome to look at it under a loupe with us in the store before you buy anything.
- Can I see a piece in person before buying?
- Yes, and we would rather you did. Everything is at 907 6th Ave in downtown San Diego. Walk in during business hours and ask for the piece by name, and we will get it out of the case so you can look at it under a loupe. Stock is one of one, so if something specific brought you in, call ahead to be sure it is still here.
- Do you sell lab grown as well as natural diamonds?
- Yes, and anything lab grown is described as lab grown in the listing. We never sell a lab grown stone without saying so, because they are optically identical to mined diamonds and no one can tell by eye. It matters commercially too: lab grown stones resell for considerably less, so you should know which you are buying before you buy it.
