A watch is the one category where the same reference sells for wildly different money depending on who is selling it. The reference is identical. What changes is the markup stacked on top of it.
We own our watches outright rather than carrying them on consignment, so there is no third party to pay before you get a price. That is most of the gap between what we ask and what the marketplaces ask.

- Are your watches authenticated?
- Yes. Every watch is examined in house before it is listed. Case, bracelet, dial, movement and hallmarks are checked, and anything that does not pass does not go up.
- Do you buy watches as well as sell them?
- Yes, watches are the category we are most active in on the buy side. You can bring a watch to the store at 907 Sixth Ave, or send photos first and we will tell you what it is worth before you come in.
- Can I trade a watch toward another one?
- Yes. Trading toward something in the case is common, and it usually gets you further than selling outright and buying separately.
- Why are your prices below the marketplaces?
- We own our inventory outright rather than carrying it on consignment or buying through a wholesaler, so there is no middle party to pay before the price is set.
