Others appear from time to time in smaller numbers. Each brand page shows what is actually in stock now, read live from the store's inventory.
- Is everything authenticated?
- Yes, every piece is examined in house before it is listed, and the checks differ by house. Watches are judged on reference and serial agreement, dial, bezel and movement. Handbags on the date code or embedded chip for their era, canvas or quilting alignment, hardware and stitching. Jewelry on hallmark quality and metal that tests as what it is stamped.
- Which brands does the store buy?
- Watches are pursued hardest, because a good Rolex or Cartier reference trades anywhere in the country and the market is deep. The other houses are bought too, including Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, David Yurman and Dior, without being actively marketed. Evaluations are free and carry no obligation.
- Do you sell fakes or replicas?
- No. Anything that does not pass authentication is not listed, at any price. If you bring in a piece that turns out to be counterfeit you will be told plainly, free of charge, whether or not you intended to sell it.
